How would you describe working here in 3 words? Fun, challenging and rewarding
I’m a proud Indian – Aussie girl, born and raised in Sydney. I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce(Marketing) and am currently studying a Master of Marketing at Macquarie University.
I’m currently working in marketing with Revolution360 which consists of a lot of internal and external collaboration. A typical day would see me working on creating and delivering campaigns through a marketing automation tool and understanding how various journeys can cause different responses from consumers. One click could open up a whole new journey for a consumer and that’s why I find it so exciting! At other times I’m working with company partners to spread the Revolution360 word and facilitate broader marketing conversations through content pieces and thought-provoking PR opportunities. No two days are the same and that’s what makes it so fun!
I’m an Indian classical dancer and I’ve been dancing for 15 years now. I enjoy it a lot because it’s taught me a lot about my heritage. Although I live in Australia, I feel dancing has really helped me connect to a side of me that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to do. It’s also taught me a lot about working with other people, managing different personalities, working independently, commitment and discipline. All of which are essential to everyday life.
Creating new experiences is something that I’ve always been passionate about. I love collaborating and joining forces to create new ideas and concepts that can be brought to life. The transformation process from the drawing board to consumers going ‘ooh’ is honestly the best!
When I was younger, I was quite interested in criminal law and wanted to pursue that as a career. However, it wasn’t until I started university that I fell in love with marketing. I found it quite intriguing and it really provided me with a whole new exciting perspective to business that I’d never really thought of. Since then I’ve been lucky enough to work within the field!
There’s never a dull moment here and every day is different. There’s an incredible sense of family and it’s reinforced in the way we all get along. We’re always ready to have a laugh and the people here are incredible. Hard work doesn’t ever go unnoticed!
Coming to think about it,not really! I do however feel that the universe knows what you’re up to…eek.
There are so many, where do I begin? My biggest pet peeve would be when people don’t cover their coughs or clean up after themselves, or when… sorry I should stop.
