Coca-Cola wanted to liven up the evening commute and bring a whole new energy into Sydney’s train stations. Nobody does a sampling campaign like Coca-Cola, and this one definitely lived up to the hype.
Coca-Cola wanted to target the largest live audience in New South Wales, and there is only one network that guarantees a footfall of that size, The Sydney Trains Network.
The Coca-Cola custom boom box was the main feature of the sampling activation. Coming in at 3.5m long with integrated LED lights and speaker sound system, we needed to recommend spaces that could accommodate the size of the set up as well as high commuter traffic.
The campaign turned the commute home into a party. The morph suit dancer gathered crowds, all wanting to take videos and photos (and of course some cans). The campaign ran for four days at some of the busiest stations on the network (Chatswood, Martin Place, North Sydney and Wynyard).
Over 10,000 samples were given away over the course of the campaign, making this one of the largest sampling campaigns our network has ever seen.
